The Lido’s newest revue, Paris Merveilles, revolutionises the cabaret while preserving its distinctive style: the magnificent dance numbers, extravagant costumes and old-fashioned theatrical glamour.
Paris and its Lido are one and the same. Built in 1946 and situated on the famous Champs Elysées, an evening at this legendary theatre is an absolute must for those who want to experience the real glamour of Parisian nightlife. Here on one of the city’s best-known stages, some of cabaret’s greatest stars (including the Bluebell Girls) will treat you to a night of sumptuous entertainment.

The production’s creation has been entrusted to Franco Dragone, a director known for his unusual style and striking talent. As the man behind the success of the Cirque du Soleil, Celine Dion’s Las Vegas show, and magnificent opening ceremony of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, Franco Dragone certainly has a wealth of artistic experience.
The new revue’s producer is joined by a superteam of creative forces: Benoît Swan Pouffer, the avant-garde French choreographer popular on the ultra-hip New York dance scene; Yvan Cassar, a gifted composer who has directed concerts for some huge musical stars (Johnny Hallyday, Mylène Farmer); Nicolas Vaudelet,designer of the moment who has worked with some of the most influential fashion houses in the business (Dior, Louis Vuitton and Givenchy), and finally Jean Rabasse, the César award-winning set designer known for his work in such films as Delicatessen, La Cité des enfants perdus and Vatel.
