Created for the 1937 International Exhibition, the Palace of Discovery located at the end of the Champs-Elysées has cemented its place as a temple of modern science. It serves as a bridge between laboratories and the general public, showcasing major scientific achievements of the past and the latest discoveries of our time. Divided into sections — mathematics, astronomy and astrophysics, physics, chemistry, life sciences and geoscience, the Eurêka hall, and computer science and digital sciences — the Palais de la Découverte has maintained its initial purpose of sparking curiosity and presenting science as something playful. Both adults and children find it endlessly fascinating, and the temporary exhibitions provide ample reason to revisit every year.

Tuesday to Saturday: 9:30 am to 6:00 pm
Sunday and Public Holidays: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
Closed every Monday, January 1st, May 1st, and December 25th.
