The English surtitles of all the goings-on allow you to perfectly understand the spectacle before you.
You'll be on the guest list to one of the most ornate, yet secretive venues in the very heart of Paris, only found by those ‘in the know’, to savour an unequaled and downright phenomenal musical show: Irma la Douce.
A dedicated host will welcome you at the entrance, give you a brief background to the play and the theatre and personally show you to your specially assigned seats in time for curtain up.
After your authentic theatrical experience, you will be invited to a typical French restaurant ‘Chez les Artistes’ for a festive menu put together especially for New Year’s Eve.

Irma la Douce – The Musical

The Plot: Irma La Douce : Nestor, a poor beggar in Paris, suddenly becomes enamored with the indisputably adored Irma. Obsessing over the apple of his eye, he is tortured and enraged by the idea of his fair lady nightly courting another man. So, Nestor manipulates circumstances to ensure that Irma will eventually be alone with him, and entirely his, regardless of the price… With a team of 15 talented actors and a full orchestra, this comedic musical will have you dancing in your seats to the tune of its hit 1950s songs from the Parisian suburbs. With an intense pairing of humour and suspense, ‘Irma La Douce’ is a show like no other of its genre, a rare treasure!

The Venue: The Théâtre de la Porte Saint-Martin, located in the 10th district of Paris, opened up its doors for the first time on the 26 October 1781 and can welcome up to 1050 guests. It has become infamous on the French theatre scene and a huge number of renowned authors and actors have demonstrated their immense talent to audiences on this very same stage, such as the likes of Alexandre Dumas, Victor Hugo, Mélingue, Coquelin, Sarah Bernhardt and Louis de Funès.
