Guided Tour of the Dark Side of Paris

The 90-minute guided tour will unveil the stories of the eerie places of Paris.

Mysteries, legends... don't settle for everything you've been told, come and explore for yourself the inexplicable darkness of Paris. Your tour guide will recount in detail the death of Henri IV, the "green gallant," in the heart of Rue de la Ferronnerie, or the bloody history and quartering endured by Robert-François Damiens following his attempted assassination of Louis XV in the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville. Prepare yourself for a thrilling adventure and don't forget to wear comfortable shoes to avoid getting tired from trembling. This tour, not recommended for children under 12, will introduce you to myths, legends, and bloody and frightening real facts in Paris.

Meeting Point: in front of the main entrance of the Conciergerie (2 Boulevard du Palais, 75001 Paris)
Due to limited access to the Île de la Cité following the fire at Notre-Dame Cathedral, the route may be adapted on the day of the tour.
Due to construction, the Medici Column will not be visible on the tour route.
Wearing comfortable shoes is highly recommended.
In case of inclement weather rendering the tour impossible, the tour may be postponed.
