Paris 1874 was an excellent exhibition well worth the trip from the UK.
However the ticketing system was unusual in that tickets bought online in advance were more expensive than buying them on the door. Also people queuing in the “without ticket” line were admitted in large numbers ahead of those who had pre-booked tickets. This meant that the museum and exhibition were extremely crowded which detracted from the quality of our experience.
