Boarding: where to catch the Bateaux-Mouches in Paris?

The single Bateaux-Mouches pier is located at Port de la Conférence, at the foot of the Pont de l'Alma, in Paris's 8th arrondissement. It is the only departure and arrival point for all the company's cruises (sightseeing, lunch or dinner).

Arrive 15 minutes before departure for the sightseeing cruise and 30 minutes before for lunch and dinner cruises. Tickets bought online can be scanned directly on your smartphone, with no need to queue at the ticket office.

The route on the Seine and the monuments you will see

Leaving from the Pont de l'Alma, the Bateaux-Mouches boats head east up the Seine, passing the Grand Palais and Petit Palais, the Musée d'Orsay, the Pont des Arts and the Louvre, then the Hôtel de Ville and the Conciergerie. The boat turns around level with the Institut du Monde Arabe, in the 5th arrondissement.
On the way back, it takes the Bras de la Monnaie, the narrow channel between the Île de la Cité and the Left Bank: this is when you get the closest view of Notre-Dame Cathedral. The cruise then heads back down towards the Eiffel Tower before returning to the pier.

Sightseeing Cruise (1h10) — from €17

The most affordable option. A guided cruise of about 1h10 with an audio guide in 14 languages. Open upper deck for sunny days, fully glazed and air-conditioned lower deck, usable all year round. Very frequent departures: every 30 minutes in high season (April to October), every 45 minutes in low season (November to March).

The same route as the sightseeing cruise, but in the evening, with the monuments lit up and the Eiffel Tower sparkling on the hour. The most budget-friendly way to experience Paris by night.

Lunch Cruise (1h45) — from €90

Boarding at 12pm, departure at 12:30pm, back at the pier at 2:15pm. Individual window-side tables, Douce France menu served in three courses. Accordion music on board. Smart casual dress appreciated. Ideal for a business lunch, a birthday or a family occasion.

Dinner Cruise (2h15) — from €114

Boarding from 8pm, departure at 8:30pm, back at the pier at 10:45pm. Three menus to choose from: Harmonie (€114), Prestige (€135) and Excellence (€170, premium window-side seating). Live piano and violin music. Proper dress required — no shorts, flip-flops or bermudas.

Departure times

High season (April to October): departures every 30 minutes, Monday to Sunday, from 10am to 10pm. Extra departure at 10:30pm from April to the end of August. Departures until 11pm on some evenings in July and August.

Low season (November to March): one departure every 45 minutes between 10:15am and 4pm, then every 30 minutes from 4pm to 9:30pm. Extra boat at 10pm during school holidays.

The sightseeing ticket is valid for any departure on the day, with no set time.

Lunch cruise: weekends and public holidays, boarding at 12pm, departure at 12:30pm.
Dinner cruise: every day of the year, boarding from 8pm, departure at 8:30pm.

Practical tips for your cruise

Do you need to book in advance? For the sightseeing cruise, booking is not compulsory but is strongly recommended from April to October, during school holidays and at weekends. For the lunch and dinner cruises, booking is compulsory and must be made at least 24 hours in advance. In high season and for big dates (Valentine's Day, Bastille Day, New Year's Eve), book 1 to 6 months ahead.

Accessibility: all boats in the fleet are accessible to people with reduced mobility. Let us know when booking so we can arrange suitable seating.

Cancellation: free cancellation up to 48 hours before departure for the lunch cruise and up to 72 hours before for the dinner cruise. Sightseeing tickets are non-refundable but are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.

Weather: the boats sail in all weathers. As the lower deck is fully glazed and air-conditioned, the cruise is comfortable even in the rain or in winter.

Dress code: casual for the sightseeing cruise. Smart casual appreciated for lunch. Proper dress required for dinner (no shorts, flip-flops or bermudas).
