Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie of Paris: Exhibitions
Throughout the year, numerous exhibitions are accessible at the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie. You can explore spaces dedicated to various themes of science and technology in an interactive and playful manner.
Among them, you'll find:
Temporary Exhibitions:
Crowds
From October 18, 2022, to January 7, 2024
What is a crowd? What does it trigger in us? The study of crowds, whether compact, dispersed, or at a distance, at the intersection of numerous scientific disciplines - fluid mechanics, granular physics, mathematics, cognitive sciences, and social psychology - reveals the social character of our species.
Precious Waste
From December 2023 until September 1, 2024
Annually, the world produces over two billion tons of waste. The "Precious Waste" exhibition raises awareness about this massive amount of waste resulting from a production-oriented economy. The exhibition highlights how designers reinvent these waste materials into valuable resources, paving the way for a more resource-efficient future.
Permanent Exhibitions:
Space Mission: Immerse yourself in the role of an astronaut and experience an extraordinary journey during your visit. It's an adventure where you can firsthand explore the reality and complexity of space missions. Let yourself be carried away into an awakened dream that will introduce you to the world of astronauts.
Bio-inspired, another approach
Robots: Embark on a discovery of the robot. Its functioning, advances in research, but also the economic and social challenges of robotics in the 21st century.
E-lab - video game space
Brain
Man and genes
Climate Emergency: Faced with the challenges posed by climate change, it is imperative that humanity reconsiders its relationship with the planet and undertakes significant and collective changes at all levels of our societies to address the urgency of this crisis. While this realization may be bleak, it also holds inspiring potential, supported by mobilizing actions, citizen initiatives, and new perspectives on how to conceive the world in terms of social, environmental, and economic innovations."
