Traveling by bus in Paris

Eric RENAUD

You can travel around the city on the numerous green and white buses operated by RATP without losing sight of Paris, using the same ticket as for the metro. The buses cover the Île-de-France region with nearly 300 lines.

Buses generally operate from 7 am to 8:30 pm, and you can also take the Noctambus which runs in Paris from 1 am to 5 am.

To discover the major sights of the capital - Place de l'Opéra, Place de la Concorde, Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, Place du Trocadéro, Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides, Pont Neuf, Notre-Dame Cathedral, Luxembourg Gardens, and Saint-Germain-des-Prés, we recommend booking a guided bus tour.
