Presentation of Paris

Paris is the capital of France. It has about 2.2 million inhabitants within its city limits and more than 12 million when including the surrounding metropolitan areas.

It is located in the northern part of France, crossed by the Seine River between the confluences of the Marne and the Oise. It is divided into 20 districts with a total area of 105 km².
