A nice restaurant for enjoying New Year Eve
I decided to take my wife to this restaurant for our new eve night at Paris. My only complain was that I thought I was going to have a dinner with my life along, but this wasn't the thematic of the restaurant. It was a share table. (Not sure if I didn't read this at the moment of reserving). The food was great, a bottle of wine at your services and discover a different way how Parisians enjoy life. I would recommend it. Just remember, this isn't a romantic restaurant.

Honoring our ancestors, a future that respects our roots.

Ah, New Year's! That special moment when we look forward to the future while honoring the traditions that shape us. When we think of our ancestors, the Gauls, we can't help but picture those fearless tribes celebrating the changing of the seasons and the end of the harvest, deeply connected to nature in a sacred way. For them, each cycle of the year was an opportunity to pay homage to the gods and gather around festive fires.

It’s fascinating to see how elements of these ancient celebrations still resonate in our modern festivities. The Gauls certainly knew how to feast with food, wine, and songs, much like we do today. The delightful spread on the table served as a means to strengthen community bonds, a philosophy that echoes in our holiday meals, where family and friends gather around a good meal.

Moreover, the Gauls had their own way of marking time. New Year's for them was a moment of rebirth, a period of renewal, similar to the spring equinox. This connection to natural cycles reminds us of our fundamental need for ritual and celebration, even in a modern world so far removed from ancient customs.

In summary, as we celebrate this New Year, let us remember to honor the legacy of our Gaulish ancestors. Integrating elements of this ancient wisdom into our own celebrations can add deeper meaning to these moments of togetherness, marking a genuine desire to connect the past with the present. Rich in symbolism, this celebration invites us to envision a future that respects our roots, a future where each New Year celebrates not only our hopes but also our histories.
