What to expect

Since May 2019, L'Oiseau Paradis has been playing at the Paradis Latin. The cabaret on Rue du Cardinal-Lemoine renewed its revue by giving free rein to the brilliant choreographer, dancer and director Kamel Ouali. Refreshed, playful and exhilarating, an evening at the Paradis Latin is all about wonder, and it's hard not to be won over by the formula: a dream cast and a hugely popular choreographer.

L'Oiseau Paradis

After Star Academy and La France a un incroyable talent, Kamel Ouali created L'Oiseau Paradis. This all-rounder is no newcomer: the musical Le Roi Soleil, which he choreographed, was an unprecedented nationwide hit. "I proposed a concept different from what we are used to seeing in Parisian cabarets, and people loved it," he says. Expect a fresh take on the French Cancan, frills, feathers and sequins!

At the Paradis Latin, guests are greeted in the lobby by a show before the show, and the team of waiters is an integral part of the entertainment. The idea: to offer every guest a true gala evening. Here, dinner is more than a meal: you awaken your senses with cuisine by Guy Savoy and live entertainment. Built by Gustave Eiffel in 1889 and listed as a historic monument of the capital, the famous Paradis Latin cabaret stands in the heart of the Latin Quarter, a stone's throw from Notre-Dame and the Panthéon.

Like most Parisian cabarets, the Paradis Latin offers matinees on certain dates. For the lunch show, doors open at 12:00 PM and the show starts at 2:00 PM. On the same days, you can also see the show with an afternoon snack, with doors opening at 1:30 PM.

Never been a cabaret goer but hey, while in Paris thought, what the hell.

Absolutely awesome.... We thoroughly enjoyed the welcome of the staff, the intimacy of the venue, an incredible show of a variety of live artists that oozed extravigance and specticle that continually overwelmed and encouraged us to be involved.

Definatly a must see for a great memory of Paris for anyone.
