What time does the Bateaux Parisiens dinner cruise depart?

  • Two daily departure times are offered: 6:15pm and 8:30pm. During school holidays, you can also book a 9pm cruise based on the 6:15pm cruise. The 6:15pm cruise is a short format lasting 1h15, making it ideal for a family dinner with young children. Take your time on the 8:30pm cruise, which lasts 2h30. Check-in takes place at pontoon no. 5 or no. 7 (fifty metres apart) up to 15 minutes before departure. Please note that river authorities require boats to leave at fixed times, so they cannot wait if you arrive late.

How much does a Bateaux Parisiens dinner cruise cost?

  • A dinner cruise with Bateaux Parisiens can be booked from €99. This is the price of the 6:15pm cruise lasting 1h15. The 8:30pm cruise costs €115 for the Étoile service, rising to €215 for the exceptional Premier service at the bow of the boat. Children benefit from a reduced rate of €39 on the 6:15pm cruise and for the Étoile service on the 8:30pm cruise. There is no free entry for infants, who must pay the child rate even if they do not eat. The company justifies this by the cost of insurance.

Do I need to book the Bateaux Parisiens dinner cruise?

  • As with any restaurant that is a victim of its own success, it is absolutely essential to book your table in advance for a dinner cruise aboard Bateaux Parisiens. How far in advance? We generally recommend booking at least 48 hours ahead, even though last-minute tables can sometimes be found. Weekend evenings and the eves of public holidays are in high demand and require more planning. For special dates such as New Year's Eve, Christmas Eve, the 14 July cruise or Valentine's Day, we recommend booking at least 1 month in advance.

What are the differences between the dining options?

  • You can pay a supplement to guarantee a seat by the window. There are 4 different services for the 8:30pm cruise: the Étoile service with seating in the middle of the boat, the Découverte service with a set tasting menu, the Privilège service with a guaranteed window table, and the Premier service under the glass roof at the bow of the boat. Besides the location on board, the quality of the wines increases with the price.

Do I need to choose a menu when booking the dinner cruise?

  • Only groups of more than 14 people must choose a menu in advance, so that all guests can be served at the same time. Groups of fewer than 14 people can choose between the different starters, main courses and desserts on board (except for the Découverte service tasting menu, which is set). The menu is available in 10 languages for foreign guests.

Is there a vegetarian menu for the dinner cruise?

  • Vegetarians will be pleased to know that a special menu has been prepared for them. Stricter diets (vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, low-residue, diabetic…) require a request at least 24 hours in advance.

Do children have a special menu?

  • There is no children's menu, but portions are adapted to their age.

Are there alcohol-free dinner options?

  • You can ask to replace the drinks included in the services with water or soft drinks, although this does not reduce the price.

  • The boarding point for a Bateaux Parisiens dinner cruise is at Port de la Bourdonnais in Paris's 7th arrondissement. With your back to the Eiffel Tower, take the staircase going down on the right just at the foot of the Pont d'Iéna. Boarding is at pontoon no. 5 or 7 depending on the day.

Not bots but real people offering a great service
What a pleasant experience! We had booked our cruise while we were still in the UK and made the error of booking the 18:30 cruise. On arrival in Paris and wanting a sunset experience,we realised that the later cruise would be more appropriate. Come to Paris assisted us and got us onto the right cruise with no trouble and what a beautiful cruise it was. Windows were wide and could see the historical buildings around, but without any guide. The dinner was so and so. Fromage were too dry. Drinkable wine generous quantity one full bottle for two.
