Discover other sightseeing cruises in Paris

At the foot of the Eiffel Tower, Bateaux Parisiens offer a cruise with commentary in fourteen languages, often the first gateway to discovering the Seine. But Paris is full of other equally memorable river experiences. For a more local approach in the historic heart of the capital, the small fleet moored at the Square du Vert-Galant lets you board directly on the Île de la Cité. Right next to the Eiffel Tower, the Vedettes de Paris river cruise wins people over with its friendly atmosphere and human-sized boats, as well as a river trip specially designed for children to experience Paris at kids' level. For a dive into the history of Parisian cruises, nothing beats the aura of the iconic company founded in 1949 and its Pont de l'Alma pier. If your itinerary includes several sites along the Seine, the unlimited day pass with nine stops turns the river into a convenient way to get between the major monuments. Finally, to escape the traditional circuit, head for the canals: the sightseeing cruise on the Canal Saint-Martin between Orsay and La Villette or the Canauxrama heritage cruise and its series of locks reveal an unexpected Paris, punctuated by locks and underground passages.

I recommend buying tickets a minimal 3 hrs in advance if doing it online. We purchased our tickets approx 90 min before they didn’t show up. We can call and wait 20min on hold before speaking to someone. Although the we a had a reservation email they would not accept it at the wharf until our tickets arrived.

Boat trip
We had a really nice boat trip on the Seine, the commentary was very informative, as it was a very hot day it was very helpful that we could fill up our water bottles before we went on board, the only negative thing was that they wouldn’t let us refill them after the trip.

Boat was lovely went at twilight and the dark with lit buildings was nice. Bit of a scrum to get on pard and not especially fun queuing with no info in the cold. But once on board we sat inside and popped out every now and then. Audio tour wasn't up to much but sights were better.

Excellent way to see some of the major sites when only in Paid for a few hours ... and in the middle of a heatwave! Booked online, walked straight into the boat, plenty of space and even managed to find a shady spot on the deck!
