We adore the modern boats, fully glazed and designed to offer a panoramic view of Paris; to be as close as possible to the windows or at the bow, choose the Privilège or Premier services.

There are two daily departures: at 6:15 pm and at 8:30 pm. The 6:15 pm cruise is short, lasting 1h15, making it ideal for a family dinner with young children. Take your time with the 8:30 pm cruise, which lasts 2h30. Check-in is at pier no. 5 or no. 7 (the two piers are fifty metres apart) until 15 minutes before departure; however, we recommend arriving 30 minutes beforehand. Please note: the boats are required by the river authorities to leave on time and cannot wait for you if you are late.

A Bateaux Parisiens dinner cruise can be booked from €99. This is the price of the 6:15 pm cruise lasting 1h15, with the Étoile service. The 8:30 pm cruise costs €115 with the Étoile service, and up to €245 for the exceptional Premier Baie Vitrée service, at the bow of the boat. Children aged 0 to 11 pay a reduced price of €40 with the Étoile service, at both 6:15 pm and 8:30 pm; with the other services, the adult price applies. Infants do not travel free and must pay the child price even if they do not eat. The company justifies this by the cost of insurance.

As with any popular restaurant, you must book your table in advance for a Bateaux Parisiens dinner cruise. How far in advance? In general, we recommend booking at least 48 hours ahead, although it is sometimes possible to find a table at the last minute. Weekend evenings and the evenings before public holidays are in high demand and require more planning. For special dates such as New Year's Eve, Christmas Eve, the 14 July cruise or Valentine's Day, we recommend booking at least one month in advance.

The difference lies first in where your table is, then in the menu and the quality of the wines. For the 8:30 pm cruise, there are 5 services: the Étoile service, with a table in the middle of the boat; the Découverte service, with a panoramic view from the centre and a glass of champagne as an aperitif; the Privilège service, with a table for 2 to 4 people along the panoramic windows; the Premier service, under the glass roof at the bow of the boat; and the Premier Baie Vitrée service, at the bow and by the window, for the finest view. From the Privilège service upwards, the menu includes cheese and petits fours, and the wines are of higher quality. The 6:15 pm cruise offers the Étoile, Privilège, Premier and Premier Baie Vitrée services.

Only groups of more than 14 people must choose a menu in advance, so that all guests can be served at the same time. For smaller groups, you choose on board from the various starters, main courses and desserts on offer. The menu is available in 10 languages for international guests.

Vegetarians will be pleased to know that a special menu has been prepared for them. Stricter diets (vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, low-residue, diabetic, etc.) must be requested at least 24 hours in advance.

There is no children's menu, but portions are adapted to their age.
