What to expect

This is the major exhibition of the season: the Louvre Museum pays tribute to Leonardo da Vinci on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of his death. Beyond the Mona Lisa, visitors can admire in the grand Napoleon Hall, The Virgin of the Rocks, The Belle Ferronnière, or Saint John the Baptist. Explore the talents and various facets of the personality of this Florentine genius, who was not only a painter but also a scientist, philosopher, inventor, and engineer... and who continues to fascinate.

Note: The Louvre expects a large influx of visitors for this exhibition. Reservation with a time slot is mandatory.

How to Use Your Ticket?

1. Head to the designated entrance for ticket holders near the Grand Pyramid.
2. Present your e-ticket no later than half an hour after the scheduled time*.
3. Proceed through the security checkpoint.
4. Enjoy the museum's permanent collection and all temporary exhibitions (subject to availability) throughout the day**.

* If you arrive beyond this access window, the ticket holder is subject to the same access conditions and wait times as other visitors.
** Exiting the museum is final. Once you leave, re-entry with the same ticket is not permitted.

Good to Know

  • Your tickets will be sent to you no later than 48 hours after your reservation and always 24 hours before the reserved date and time.
  • There's no need to print them as they feature barcodes! Simply present yourself at the turnstiles and scan your e-tickets from your smartphone. If you prefer printing them, don't worry, that's also an option!
  • The ticket grants you access on the same day to the collections and temporary exhibitions of the Musée national Eugène Delacroix (6 rue de Fürstenberg, 75006 Paris).
  • In order to provide the most comfortable experience and a better visit, the Louvre Museum cannot keep all its rooms open every day. However, 100% room availability is guaranteed on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Free for those under 18 and EU residents under 26*.

* Visitors entitled to free entry need not visit the ticket counter if they are accompanying someone with a skip-the-line ticket. They can also enter through the designated access upon presentation of an ID card.
