On the evening of December 31 2025, book your table in the mythical restaurant in Montparnasse, I named La Coupole!
If you're looking for a memorable New Year's Eve dinner experience in Paris, look no further than La Coupole restaurant in Paris. This historic restaurant, located in the Montparnasse district of Paris, is known for its Art Deco interior and for having been a popular gathering place for artists and intellectuals in the early 20th century.
In the heyday of Montparnasse, all the greats met at the Coupole: Picasso, Giacometti, Hemingway, Kessel... Since then, this preserved place has been classified as a historic monument. The large rectangular room (in the art deco style) is superb with its 32 painted pillars, and the service is always elegant. Today the Parisian restaurant has kept its rhythm and the personalities still flock there because it remains the high place of the spirit of Montparnasse.

The Brasserie la Coupole in a few words ...
Part of the legend of Montparnasse was built in this former deposit of wood and charcoal bought in 1927 by Messrs René Lafon and Ernest Fraux - managers of the Dôme café - to make it the largest brasserie in Paris: 1,000 m² where parade all that the left bank has counted as artists of all nationalities. The house's guestbook is a repertoire of modern art, and the huge bar counter has known such famous pillars as Kessel and Hemingway. The 33 painted pillars and pilasters that line the immense hall are still faithful to the post. During a gigantic celebration for its 70th anniversary, the Coupole paid tribute to their authors chosen from among the students of Matisse and Fernand Léger. People from all over the world come to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of this brewery.
