Since its creation in 1922, Le Bœuf sur le Toit has embodied the artistic magic of Paris during the Roaring Twenties. Every week, Jean Cocteau and a constellation of artists gathered there: Christian Dior, Coco Chanel, Erik Satie, Picasso, Francis Picabia, as well as Charles Trenet and Léo Ferré.
From their musical improvisations was born the now-famous expression: “faire un bœuf” — to jam.
A century later, the festive, creative and elegant spirit of this mythical venue remains intact.

Under the artistic direction of Alexis Mabille, the house regains all the flamboyance of its original Art Deco style:
