The price to pay to enjoy a show at the Moulin Rouge varies according to many criteria.

With an occupancy rate of over 95% every evening and with the aim of best distributing the customers on every day of the year, the Moulin Rouge has made the choice to constantly vary the prices of its different options, in order to fill up. Do not be surprised either to see the price of a show change from one day to the next. If this show is filled quickly, the price will increase. For that reason, we can only recommend that you make a reservation as far in advance as possible!

Tickets for the Moulin Rouge are put on sale six months in advance. As soon as you are sure of your date, make a request without delay! With an occupancy rate of 95% all year round, the cabaret is always full. In addition, the prices are "yielded", which means that they increase when more than one session is full! Be careful however, tickets are not able to be cancelled or refunded. Some sites propose cancellation assurances in exchange for money.

To have an excellent spot at the Moulin Rouge, the best way is to book a performance with dinner because the first third of the room at the front of the stage is dedicated to it. It seems that the maîtres d’hôtel stick to the order of reservation. That is to say that the earlier you reserve, the better the seat you’ll get.

The show is completely the same in the first and second performance. Feel free to make your choice and organise your evening as you wish. However, you should know that the 11pm viewing is less in demand and that you will have more chance of being in the front row if you double this choice of reservation well in advance.

Even without choosing the performance with dinner option, you can ask for tapas to accompany the 9pm performance. Be careful, the kitchens shut at around 8.45pm. Therefore, it is recommended that you arrive between 8 and 8.15pm so that you have time to be seated, look at the menu and order. Good news for vegetarians, portions without meat and fish are available!

Neither a bow tie nor a dinner jacket, tie or evening dress is required. On the other hand, the dress code is strict and non-negotiable, the correct attire is required. Shorts, sports shoes, Bermuda shorts and other sandals are completely forbidden. Dress as if you were going to a stylish but relaxed dinner and everything will be fine.

The Moulin Rouge performance is universal and for everyone, even for children. The cabaret has however has made the choice to set the age limit at a minimum of six years old.

The performance officially takes an hour and a half, but is subject to the unpredictability of live performance. You will have a good two hours inside the Moulin Rouge for the show, four if you are opting for the performance with dinner.

It all depends on the time of the show that you have chosen. The 9pm performance usually finishes at 9.30pm and the one at 11pm finishes at 12.30am. The closest Metro station is opposite Moulin Rouge. This is the station ‘Blanche’ on line 2 of the Paris Metro. If it is more convenient for you to take line 13, you can get off at La Place de Clichy which is less than 300 metres from the Moulin Rouge, about 4 minutes on foot.

There many covered and paying car parks near the Moulin Rouge. The closest being the Blanche Pigalle Car Park on the 7 rue Mansart 75009. However, be careful as it shuts at 130am. The Zenpark Car Park on 16 Avenue Rachel in the 18th is a bit further but open 24 hours a day. It will cost you a bit more than 2 euros per hour, and about 20 euros for a day.
