At 8 years old, Olivier was already dreaming of taking the stage, but being a comedian seemed like an inaccessible dream in the eyes of his parents. He set aside his passion, knowing that sooner or later he would return to his first love: the stage.

As a teenager, he discovered another passion and decided to become a chef. A few years later, he graduated from a prestigious French culinary school, Ferrandi. In 2001, Olivier packed his bags and headed to the United States. He obtained a 6-year visa and quickly became the Maître d’Hôtel at one of the most prestigious hotels on the East Coast, "The Breakers," in Palm Beach, Florida.

Yet his childhood dream remained intact, so he chose to return to Paris to try his luck on stage. During all his years of service, he enjoyed the cultural contrasts between Americans and the French. This inspired him to write a one-man show that would address all these differences. Olivier boldly decided to write his show in English so he could bring together audiences from all backgrounds in the same room.

He presented his project to many industry professionals to gain their support, but it was immediately labeled as doomed to fail. No one wanted to bet on him, so he decided to create his own production company: "La French Arrogance Production."

On May 10, 2009, "How to become a Parisian in one hour" was born on stage for the first time.

Seven years later, with over half a million spectators and 1,200 performances, on May 20, 2016, Olivier Giraud decided to celebrate the success of this incredible adventure: at the OLYMPIA!
