Every year, Disneyland Paris transforms into a sinisterly magical kingdom to celebrate one of the most eagerly awaited seasons: the Disney Halloween Festival. During this time, the park immerses visitors in an enchanting atmosphere where pumpkins laugh, ghosts dance, and Disney villains take control. From mid-September to early November, the Disneyland Paris experience becomes more frightening and captivating than ever, offering immersive activities for both young and old.
A Transformed Park
As soon as you enter the park, the spirit of Halloween can be felt. Main Street, U.S.A., the park's main thoroughfare, is adorned with autumn decorations and pumpkins. The façades of the buildings are decorated with autumn leaves and Halloween garlands, while ghosts and witches emerge around every corner to play tricks on visitors. The famous Disney Villains, such as Maleficent, Jafar, Ursula, and the Queen of Hearts, roam throughout the park, ready to frighten and entertain. These iconic characters mingle with classic characters such as Mickey, Minnie, and Donald, dressed in their finest Halloween costumes.
The park's atmosphere is also enhanced by a themed soundtrack and a spectral lighting atmosphere that transforms Disneyland Paris into a fantastical kingdom as night falls.
Unforgettable Shows
One of the highlights of the Halloween Festival is undoubtedly the shows specially created for the occasion. In previous years, visitors have been able to attend shows such as “It’s Good to be Bad with the Disney Villains”, where the Disney Villains are the stars of a devilishly entertaining show. Maleficent, surrounded by her accomplices, takes over the park's central stage to enchant visitors with dance performances and dark magic.
The “Mickey’s Halloween Celebration” parade is also an unmissable event. Colorful and rhythmic, it features Mickey and his friends parading through the park on floats adorned with Halloween motifs. The parade culminates with the appearance of the Disney Villains, creating a striking contrast between joyful magic and sinister energy.
