This zoological park located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, which is part of the National Museum of Natural History, was inaugurated 220 years ago and today covers an area of 5.5 hectares. It houses more than 1,000 animals and several specific facilities such as a wild animal, a monkey house, a vivarium and a large aviary. You can notably approach orangutans, kangaroos, rhinos, flamingos, pythons, snow panthers and red pandas.

Menagerie, the Jardin des Plantes zoo is open every day:
From March 27 to September 30, 2022: 7:30 a.m. - 8 p.m.
October 1 to 29, 2022: 8 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
October 30, 2022 to February 28, 2023: 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Last admission 15 minutes before closing.
Tickets must be printed. Tickets presented on digital media are not accepted and places cannot be refunded if necessary.

Full Price (from 26 years old): 13€
Reduced Rate 10€ for:
- Young person under 25 years old resident of the EU on presentation of proof.
- Holder of the Education Pass.
- Job seeker on presentation of a certificate valid or less than 6 months old issued by Pôle-Emploi and an identity document with photo.
Free for:
- Children under 3 years old on presentation of proof.
- Disabled person and their companion on presentation of valid proof issued by the Departmental Houses for Disabled Persons (MDPH).
- Beneficiary of social minima (according to the definition of the Ministry of Solidarity and Health), and his beneficiaries mentioned on the certificate, on presentation of the valid certificate and identity documents with photo.
- ICOM/ICOMOS cards of the current year and presentation of an identity card with photo.
- French or foreign journalist on presentation of the press card (with date of validity).
- Soldier carrying the sentinel card.
- Staff of member establishments of the AFDPZ, EAZA, and WAZA on presentation of valid proof and an identity document.
