Reviews Abbey of Mont-Saint-Michel

The Abbey itself was truly impressive and absolutely worth visiting – I really enjoyed everything inside. However, the waiting experience was disappointing due to poor queue management. There was no clear organization: people arriving at different times were all allowed in together, creating a big crowd and complete chaos. I especially felt sorry for parents with small children who had to endure the situation. The visit was great, but the entrance management definitely needs improvement.

Everything is OK, except new order billet booking. It's not cozily book ticket valid for one day and time only!

Spectacular!

A great trip, the site is spectacular from a distance, we were able to park nearby and use the free shuttle bus service to take us right to the end of the causeway. There are quite a lot of stairs and a good bit of walking, so i wouldn't recommend it for very small children or for any one with any kind of walking disability. The walk around the Abbey itself was excellent, you can get an audio guide, or read from the many signs / displays around the Abbey. It clearly is a very popular tourist attraction, but never felt too crowded while we were there, apart from the initial 'ticket' queues to enter the Abbey.
There are places to eat just outside the Abbey, but still on the island and they seem able to cope with high demand. All in all, we thought it was excellent.

simple operation

Easy to get tickets online and worth it to skip the queue at Mont St Michel. But missed out on the audio guide which wasn't an option online.

Easy to use and a must if you want to avoid the long queue to get in St.Michel Abbey.

My trip to the Palace of Versailles was enhanced by our guide Philip. He made the visit interesting and took us through its history. The gardens were amazing. I would recommend an earlier tour or visiting the gardens before the tour. We had to leave by 5:30 and we had so much more to see

Bought tickets ahead of time for entrance to St. Michel, no issues what so ever. Quick and easy. E-tickets = no need to find a PRINTER!!

Eine großartige Möglichkeit solch ein beeindruckendes Denkmal zu besichtigen. Auch ohne Tourleitung hat man viele Standorte zum besichtigen.

Nachdem dann alles geklärt war, war alles gut.

Das Buchen des Tickets ging problemlos. Die Abtei ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Wir waren morgens um 7:45 auf dem Parkplatz und die Wanderung zum Mont-Saint-Michel ein Erlebnis. Dann hatten wir genug Zeit um die Gassen zu erforschen und uns um 9:15 anzustellen für den Einlass in die Abtei. Ein Ticket Kauf früh morgens wäre aber problemlos möglich gewesen. Als wir nach einer Stunde heraus kamen war dann in den Gassen schon ein wahnsinniges Gedränge und wir sind schleunigst zurück. Wieder zu Fuß, die Shuttlebusse waren schon überfüllt. Also früh gehen, wenn man die Menschenmassen vermeiden will.

Zu Teuer (16€) für das was man zu sehen bekomt. Es waren so viele Turisten dort dass man sich nicht mehr wohl fühlen konnte.
Mein Kolege und ich haben den Mont Saint Michel 5 Stunden früher verlassen als vorgesehen.

Es hat ganz wunderbar geklappt, dadurch, dass wir vorab gebucht hatten, ging es schnell an der Warteschlange vorbei, wobei diese an diesem Tag such nicht so dramatisch war.
Würde ich dennoch empfehlen

Beim Anblick der Schlange half das Portal mit Onlinekarten sehr schnell. Etwas teurer aber besser als 2 Stunden stehen.

Sehr gut organisierter Rundgang aber ein Zurückgehen an einen der Stätten geht nicht.

Der Mont Saint Michel ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert. Wir waren um 17:00 dort, dann war es auch nicht mehr so voll. Die Abtei ist beeindruckend. Im Anschluss sind wir noch Essen gegangen und dann zurück ans Festland. Alles entspannt und ohne Wartezeiten.

Konnte hier noch ein Zeitfenster für die Besichtigung zu buchen, die bei anderen Anbietern nicht mehr verfügbar war. Buchung einfach, Bezahlung mit Paypal & hatte die Buchungsbestätihung sowie die Tickets prombt als Email bekommen. Somit kein lästiges Anstehen. Die Buchung war somit ein voller Erfolg.

Dauert ein Tag nur bei der Bearbeitung der Freischaltung der Karten aber ansonsten top Service

Es gibt Besucher mit reservierten Tickets und ohne. Es war ein gr. Gedränge zwischen den beiden Gruppen, bis zu einem Orientierungspunkt, wo beschrieben war, wie das Handling zwischen den beiden Gruppen abläuft.

Stupenda abbazia in un luogo indimenticabile. È comodo prendere il biglietto online per evitare la ressa (che in un posto del genere è inevitabile un po' da tutte le parti)- almeno in questo modo si entra a un orario prestabilito. Consiglio la mattina presto o il tardo pomeriggio.

Der Mont-Saint-Michel ist ein besonderer Ort, den man gesehen haben sollte, wenn man in der Nähe ist. Der Rundgang durch die Abtei lohnt sich und ist nicht zu teuer (Kinder sind frei). Der Audioguide mit AR-Funktionen sah auch interessant aus, hatten wir selbst aber nicht gebucht. Die Buchung war unkompliziert und die Webseite aussagekräftig und mehrsprachig.

Abbazia molto bella e interessante. L'ho apprezzata molto come ho apprezzato il giro anche per la splendida giornata di sole incontrata. Assolutamente consigliabile. Il biglietto d'ingresso acquistato on line mi ha risparmiate code alla biglietteria. I parcheggi sono molto bene organizzati con il servizio navetta.

Bellissimo il posto senz'altro in più il parcheggio con navetta funziona benissimo. Con i biglietti online siamo entrate senza fila, senza problemi.
