Musée de la Monnaie de Paris Opening Hours

The Musée de la Monnaie de Paris welcomes you in an exceptional setting, offering a fascinating journey into the history of currency and coin minting. Open every day from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., except Mondays and the public holidays of January 1, May 1 and December 25, the museum invites you to discover its collections and exhibitions in a unique atmosphere. For those who enjoy cultural evenings, a late opening is held every Wednesday, extending opening hours until 9:00 p.m., with last admission at 8:30 p.m. Please note that the last admissions to the museum and exhibitions are at 5:30 p.m., except on Wednesdays, when you can enter until 8:30 p.m. On Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, the museum closes earlier, at 4:00 p.m., with last admission at 3:30 p.m. Come and enjoy a rewarding historical and artistic experience in the heart of Paris.

For security reasons, access to the museum and cloakroom is prohibited for all types of suitcases, as well as large travel bags or backpacks (hiking type). Only small travel bags or backpacks smaller than A3 format (Height 42cm x Width 29.7cm) are accepted at the cloakroom. Following the government Vigipirate security measures, the cloakroom is temporarily closed.

Late opening on Wednesday: until 9:00 p.m.

Closed on Mondays, as well as January 1, May 1 and December 25.

Early closing at 4:00 p.m. on December 24 and 31.

Last admissions: 30 minutes before closing.
